Frequently asked questions

I did not receive the email verification code.
Check your Spam/Promotions folder. Codes are valid for 15 minutes; tap "Resend code" after one minute.

Sign in with Google fails.
Check that your device is signed into a Google account in iPhone Settings and has network access. If you previously revoked Vọt's access in your Google account, the next sign-in will ask for permission again — accept it. You can always sign in with your email address and password instead.

What does Vọt take from my Google account?
Only your email address, display name and public profile picture. It never reads Gmail, Contacts, Drive or Calendar. Details in section 3 of the Privacy Policy.

When does the Premium trial start?
As soon as you verify your email, lasting 24 hours. Sign-in with Apple or Google is verified automatically.

I bought Premium but the app still shows the free plan.
Settings → Vọt Premium → "Restore purchases", and make sure you are signed into the same Vọt account you used to buy.

Cancelling Premium.
iPhone Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → Vọt → Cancel. Deleting the app or your Vọt account does not cancel the subscription.

Deleting your account.
Settings → Account → "Delete account" → "Delete permanently". Server data is erased immediately and cannot be recovered. Full instructions at delete account.

Is the vehicle data from my own car?
The current version displays simulated data, labelled as such on screen. Vọt only reads data and never sends control commands to the vehicle — see our safety commitments.

Is Vọt made by VinFast?
No. Vọt is an independent third-party app. For vehicle, warranty or official VinFast charging issues, contact VinFast.
