Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026. Applies to the iOS app "Vọt" (bundle vn.vot.app) and its backend. This is an English translation; the Vietnamese version prevails in case of conflict.

1. Who we are

Vọt is developed and operated by LNH Soft ("we"), Hanoi, Vietnam, contact [email protected]. We are the data controller for the data described here. Vọt is an independent third-party app, not owned by or endorsed by VinFast or any vehicle manufacturer.

2. What we collect and why

We collect only what the app needs to work. No advertising, no behavioural analytics, no data sales.

We do not collect contacts, photos, voice recordings (speech is transcribed on-device), health data, advertising identifiers, or any data used to track you across other apps and websites. Favourite places, search history, settings and vehicle data stay on your device.

3. Signing in with Google and Apple

When you choose "Sign in with Google", Vọt requests exactly three basic scopes: openid, email, profile. We receive, and only receive:

your Google account email address and whether it is verified;
your public display name and profile picture;
your Google user identifier.

We use this data only to create your Vọt account, recognise you on subsequent sign-ins, and contact you about your account. We do not access Gmail, Contacts, Google Drive, Calendar, Photos, YouTube or any other Google service; do not read, write or delete anything in your Google account; do not use Google data for advertising; do not transfer Google data to third parties beyond the processors listed in section 4; and do not use Google data to train AI models.

Vọt's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sign in with Apple works the same way and yields the same categories of data. If you choose "Hide My Email", we only ever receive the relay address Apple generates.

You can revoke access at any time at your Google account permissions page or in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Sign in with Apple. Revoking access does not delete your Vọt account — see how to delete your account.

4. Who receives data

Vọt's server (located in Vietnam): everything in the table in section 2.
Map and charger data providers: coordinates and search terms.
Language-model provider: your question plus the vehicle/charger context needed to answer it.
Street imagery provider: charger coordinates.
Email and SMS providers: your email address or phone number, to deliver verification codes.
Apple: Premium payment processing and push delivery; we never see your payment details.

These parties receive only the data needed for a specific request and may not use it for their own purposes. We do not sell or share personal data for advertising.

5. Storage and security

All app-to-server traffic is encrypted (HTTPS).
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id; we cannot read your password.
Verification codes are stored hashed and expire after 15 minutes.
"Sign out of all devices" in the app terminates every session.
Account data is kept until you delete your account.

6. Your rights

View and edit: email, name and phone number under Settings → Account.
Delete your account: available directly in the app; all server-side data is permanently erased. Steps at delete account.
Withdraw location, microphone or notification permission: iPhone Settings → Vọt.
Other requests (data copy, complaints): email [email protected]; we respond within 30 days.

7. Children

Vọt is for drivers and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect children's data.

8. Changes

When this policy changes we update the date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
