Vọt

Safety commitments

Last updated: 4 September 2026. This page describes the technical boundaries Vọt sets for itself and does not cross.

You are responsible for driving. Vọt is an assistance tool, not a driver-assistance system. Always watch the road, the signs and the actual conditions, and obey Vietnamese traffic law.

1. Vọt only reads vehicle data

Data flow between the vehicle and the app is one-directional:

Vehicle → READ → App

Vọt sends no control commands to the vehicle: it does not lock or unlock doors, does not control climate, does not start the vehicle, does not change vehicle settings, and does not send arbitrary CAN frames. This holds for every vehicle model the app supports, without exception. Remote vehicle control is out of scope for the app.

The AI assistant, the user interface, the backend and CarPlay all sit behind this boundary — none of them has a path to send a command to the vehicle.

2. Unverified values are shown as unknown

Vehicle data comes from a reader device you connect yourself. When a value has not been verified for your specific vehicle model, Vọt displays "unknown" instead of guessing or borrowing a figure from a different model. Each model requires its own evidence — a specification verified for one model is never assumed to apply to another.

Every displayed value carries its source and the time it was last updated, so you can tell fresh data from stale data.

The current version of the app displays vehicle data in simulated mode and says so on screen.

3. CarPlay respects driving restrictions

On CarPlay, Vọt uses only the interface templates Apple permits and never attempts to bypass the display restrictions that apply while the vehicle is moving. Some lists are shortened or locked while driving — that is deliberate behaviour, not a bug.

Interact by voice while driving. Do not hold your phone at the wheel.

4. Navigation, speed limits and charger data can be wrong

5. AI assistant

Assistant answers are generated automatically and can be wrong. The assistant does not replace manufacturer technical advice, and has no ability to act on the vehicle. Do not enter sensitive information into the assistant.

6. Vọt is not a VinFast app

Vọt is an independent third-party app developed by LNH Soft, not owned by, affiliated with, or endorsed by VinFast or any vehicle manufacturer. Model names are used only to describe supported vehicles. For warranty, service or official features, contact the manufacturer directly.

Reporting a safety issue

If you find app behaviour that could compromise safety, email [email protected] with a subject starting "SAFETY". We prioritise these reports above all other work.
